Fun Photo Edits

Photo editing is a fun and common thing to do nowadays. It can be done through in camera effects or a photo editing program and it is pretty fun to do. Here are some pictures I took using a one color focusing feature I found on my mom's camera, and then collage together using PicMonkey (A free online photo editor and collage maker).

I color focused in green, pink, and red respectively for each of these pictures.

I color focused in pink here.

All of these pictures were taken at my grandparents house while I was visiting them during the Fall. I had never used this function on a camera before so it was a fun experiment!

Ray's Cookies

Today I would like to share my personal cookie recipe! I modified a few cookie recipes to get this recipe for a great cookie. I made todays cookies with peanut butter chips and white chocolate chips. It's my favorite cookie! Here is the recipe for you to try! (You may notice that the milk glass in my picture is not very full... That's because I had two cookies before I made this post! Yum!)

Ray's Cookies

Ingredients
1/2 cup or 1 stick butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
About 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon hot water
1/4 teaspoon salt
About 1 cups white chocolate and peanut butter chips (or chips of your choice)
About 2/3 cups chopped nuts of your choice (if you do not want nuts, substitute more chips of your choice)

Note: Makes around 2 dozen cookies with loads of the chips of your choice, if you prefer less chips slowly add small amounts to batter until satisfied.

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Mix together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt. Stir in flour, chips, (and nuts if you're not substituting chips). Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased pans.
Bake for about 10 minutes or until edges are nicely browned.

Enjoy!

White Chocolate Brownies!

I love white chocolate and I love brownies! But I have never had white chocolate brownies before, so today I decided to make some white chocolate brownies from scratch! It was fun and easy and I can't wait to taste them!

Tea and What Not

I love tea, I love Winnie the Pooh, and I really love my Winnie the Pooh tea set! Today I took pictures to share it with you!
Here is my big Pooh tea kettle and new (to me) classic pooh cup! They inspired me to post today!

There are three pictures on my classic pooh mug!
Pooh and friends join us for the tea party!

Tea and What-not Tea set
Here is some what-not I got at the state fair one year! Winnie the Pooh nest eggs! Hand made in Ukraine.
Lids and Bottoms
All lined up!
:)
Platters and cups!

Looks like they found their plates!
Such cute classic pooh! Anyone for milk and hunny?
Just chillin!
What a beautiful tea set! Love it
It even packs into a ready to go picnic basket, complete with tablecloth, napkins, and silverware!

I hope that you enjoyed admiring my tea set as much as I do! I've had it since I was a little girl and it was always a great joy to have tea parties with Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore!
Hoping to add more to my collection soon! Each one of these items featured today was bought for me by my loving mother! With the exception of my stuffed Pooh bear, given to me by my Great Aunt Dorthy, both very lovely ladies!
Much love, Ray.
