Ray's Cookies

Today I would like to share my personal cookie recipe! I modified a few cookie recipes to get this recipe for a great cookie. I made todays cookies with peanut butter chips and white chocolate chips. It's my favorite cookie! Here is the recipe for you to try! (You may notice that the milk glass in my picture is not very full... That's because I had two cookies before I made this post! Yum!)

Ray's Cookies

Ingredients
1/2 cup or 1 stick butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
About 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon hot water
1/4 teaspoon salt
About 1 cups white chocolate and peanut butter chips (or chips of your choice)
About 2/3 cups chopped nuts of your choice (if you do not want nuts, substitute more chips of your choice)

Note: Makes around 2 dozen cookies with loads of the chips of your choice, if you prefer less chips slowly add small amounts to batter until satisfied.

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Mix together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt. Stir in flour, chips, (and nuts if you're not substituting chips). Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased pans.
Bake for about 10 minutes or until edges are nicely browned.

Enjoy!
